Batik Indulgence Cake Recipe

Ingredients and Steps to Make Batik Indulgence Cake
Part 1: Batik Cake
Ingredients:
540g or 2 packs of Marie biscuits
250g of butter
200g of condensed milk
1 cup of Milo powder
¾ cup of full cream milk
½ cup of cocoa powder
¼ teaspoon of salt (if you use unsalted butter)
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
Steps:
• Break the biscuits into small pieces.
• In a pan, melt the butter and add condensed milk, Milo powder, full cream milk, and cocoa powder. Mix until it looks smooth. Make sure there is no chunk in the mixture.
• Put in the vanilla essence and salt.
• Continue stirring until it’s boiling and then you can turn off the stove.
• Add the biscuits little by little and mix gently to make sure all biscuits are coated.
• Put parchment paper in a square pan so that your cake does not stick to the surface.
• Pour the mixture into the pan evenly and put a bit of pressure on the mixture.
• Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
Part 2: Cream Cheese
Ingredients:
250g cream cheese (softened)
3 tablespoons of castor sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
1 tablespoon of condensed milk
¾ tablespoon of gelatin powder
3 tablespoons of hot water
200 ml of whipping cream
Steps:
• Mix the gelatin powder and hot water in a small bowl.
• In another bowl, put in the cream cheese, castor sugar, vanilla essence, condensed milk and the gelatin mix.
• Mix well.
• In a different bowl, whip the whipping cream. Then, add the whipped cream into the cream cheese mix.
• Take out your chilled batik cake and put the cream cheese mix on top of it evenly.
• Put it back into the refrigerator.
Part 3: Chocolate Ganache
Ingredients:
300g of dark cooking chocolate
250g of whipping cream
1 tablespoon of butter
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
Steps:
• Melt the cooking chocolate using the double boiling method.
• Add the whipping cream and mix until it is fully combined.
• Add the butter and vanilla essence.
• Once everything is mixed and melted, take out your cake and pour the chocolate ganache on top.
• Let the cake chill and harden in the refrigerator overnight.
